Following is doesn't "do" anything?

I've never been a fan of the "follow/unfollow" paradigm, so honestly, I don't see the point of it now either. So before continuing on that road, what is it exactly that this should be doing?

Is this standard functionality for each playlist?
- By the way, what are our different "types" of playlists anyway?
If not, what type of playlists do need this functionality?
- And how does it differ from, say "inviting" people for a playlist?
- In the end, it is probably the playlist "owner" who get's to decide who joins a playlist and who doesn't, so how does "following" fit in that picture?

Just pointing these out to make a point; we're not going to blindly copy functionalities from the old fusic, since it was full of bugs and inconsistencies; we have a chance to improve on it, so we'd better think about it first :wink:
