Mark it as feature request and i'm ready to do this :)
I was thinking about situations when min, max or crit temperature does not exist (current temp. can be any value), maybe we should allow user to set min, max or crit value manually (ofc. it will be predefined after first sensors start and then just read from config file). xfce does this, so probably it is a good idea: http://goodies.xfce.org/_media/projects/panel-plugins/xfce4-sensors-options.png?cache= What do You think guys ? :)
If you want to do that, sounds good :)
Ang3lus, any README/HOWTO how to setup it, please? I tried to add the plugin but nothing displayed (and I'm lm_sensors newbie...)
If nothing is displayed then i'm assuming that You have compiled and installed this plugin (it is installed by default). If You don't see anything just compile in debug mode and look in the console, there will be debug info displayed about detected sensors etc. Maybe You don't have any temp sensors (type "sensors" in the console) :) If "sensors" command is showing some temp sensors then it is bug in this plugin (impossible ! ; ) ). There is also a possibility that You have temp sensors in Your system but they are not detected cause You don't have appropriate kernel modules in Your linux box and lm_sensors library can't see them. Anyway, give me some feedback about progress :)
thanks, it works now. Maybe some hint if there are no sensors configured would be great...
I'm glad to hear this :)
Stay calm, i didn't forget about this feature, just busy :)
Is it possible to have text mode instead of graph/animation?
And what about adding memory and cpu usages in text mode as well?
For now, no, but it can be easily done :)
Excellent. Thanks.
