I must add that I'm using the standalone version. The Overwolf verison works just fine.
We will investigate this. But for now we checked on several PCs and were unable to reproduce this issue.
Unfortunately we were unable to reproduce this. I'll keep the issue open, maybe more users will come and add some details so we could track this down.
I'm experience the same problem
Please check if v.2.1.15 fixes the issue
Same problem here, on 2.1.15. Using Standalone version. Overlay is all black
We updated tracker to 2.1.16 and made some attempts to fix the issue. Please check.
Also, you can use Overwolf version of the tracker, it seems to be working without this issue https://download.overwolf.com/install/Download?Name=MTGA+Pro+Tracker&ExtensionId=gnjiocijllfmkhjhjbeeilaoabdhlakkmfgnhflf&Channel=website3
Also, looks like it's Electron regression, it used to affect users on Linux, but now it's relevant for windows users as well https://github.com/electron/electron/issues/15947
Since there's no new complaints, I'm closing this issue. But if in version 2.1.17 it will occur again, please report it here, I'll reopen the issue.
I'm still experiencing this issue intermittently on version 2.1.24 standalone. It seems to only happen after I alt-tab in and out of the game, but it renders it unplayable until I stop the overlay.
@nickmccurdy we still can't reproduce this issue. I'll reopen it, but there's very small chance that we will be actually do something about it.
FWIW I haven't gotten this issue in a while.
Also, looks like it's Electron regression, it used to affect users on Linux, but now it's relevant for windows users as well electron/electron#15947
Can I use mtgap on Linux?
Detailed context:
My Desktop:
Describe the bug If the Overlay is enabled, it covers the entirety of the MTGA window (whatever window graphics settings it may have) with the Overlay (from the app) itself on the black overlay (pardon for the double meaning). When the MTGA window is in the background, the blackness vanishes with the Overlay itself (as intended I suppose).
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Here are my app's settings:
