Collection updates with delay #273

With the latest release from two days ago, collection tracking was working for a day for me. But since yesterday I have nothing show up anymore. No cards that were added to my account since yesterday morning show up in my collection. Match tracking doesn't always immediately sync, sometimes I have to restart or resync old logs, but eventually it seems to show up. No luck with the collection though. Are you aware of that already? The other issue had been closed already.

This is some kind of floating bug, this is not happening for most of users. I'll keep this open to observe of there's any users having similar issues

My Collection seems to have updated now with cards from yesterday. When I look at the collection manager and sort by Collect Date, the newest date is now Oct 2. None of this shows up on my profile though or under Rewards. A new pack I just opened also doesn't show up at all.

Ok, update. Rewards from today just showed up for me. Inside the collection and on the rewards page and profile. This is really weird and erratic behaviour right now but maybe you can gain at least some insight into it by this.

Unfortunately I have no idea why it's working like that for you. And there's no way I could replicate this issue. Well, good side of it that it's updated after all, so it's not completely broken.

Good to know that it's not a general issue that keeps plaguing you. If I ever start recognizing some regularity, I'll let you know.

I installed the tracker today (win - 2.2.5), it says it is synced but I can't see "owned" cards in my collection (it says 0 owned). Maybe it is the same problem? Delay while syncing collection?

@xxdede check if antivirus blocking tracker dlls

When everything is working as it meant to, you should be able to see your collection output in log. Specifically, line

[MTGA.Pro Logger] Collection

in your C:\Users\{USERNAME}\AppData\LocalLow\Wizards Of The Coast\MTGA\Player.log

If there's no single [MTGA.Pro Logger] line in log despite MTGA is running and tracker is active, then something went wrong.

Ok, I just tried to wipe all settings, restart and resync. Also started the tracker as admin. And I don't see anything obvious blocking the tracker, as I don't have any additional antivirus running and Windows Defender doesn't show anything as being blocked.

At first, no line with [MTGA.Pro Logger] could be found in my player log at all. But after a few more restarts of the tracker and Arena, it did appear eventually, so that is probably when the collection does get synced. But I can't see any difference between the one time it worked and the other times when it doesn't, it stays kind of random.

Actually there's a "Threat Blocked".

Item deleted. Threat name: Trojan.GenericKD.37708011. Path: C:\Users{USERNAME}\AppData\Local\mtgaprotracker\app-2.2.7\resources\app.webpack\main\native_modules\SharpMonoInjector.dll

Is it normal? Why does it get recognized as trojan?

@xxdede we had several announcements about that. https://twitter.com/mtgapro/status/1446040273532956675 https://twitter.com/mtgapro/status/1446162929200607234 It's false positive, you should allow this file on your PC to be able to track collection.

Ok, it worked adding it to the exclusion list. The collection appeared.

With version 2.2.9 now, everything seems to be working regularly again for me. Good job!

Hi guys I'm having problems to view my collection, I can see al the wild cards but when I switch to Owned it doesn't show anything, something happens in the Progress page. I'll attach images below. FYI I'm on the latest version of Big Sur and also the latest (2.1.35) for the companion app, and I don't have my firewall turned on. Thank you!
