Can't Sync MTG Tracker. PLEASE HELP #399

Detailed context (ISSUES WILL NOT BE INVESIGATED WITHOUT IT!):

Your Desktop:

Describe the bug Not allowing sync between MTG Arena game and MTG Arena Tracker. Stating that a path is "bad."

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'Settings'
  2. Click on 'Locate'
  3. See error.

I've tried manually setting the path but no luck on my end. Thank you!

Hello, in MTG Arena Pro settings tab you have to set the correct folder for MTGA_Data path. Unless you have installed MTG Arena in a different folder the default path should be C:\MTGA\MTGA_Data If you have MTG Arena Steam version it should be under your Steam games folder for example C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MTGA\MTGA_Data Unfortunately MTG Arena Pro tracker currently has several issues: MTG Arena Pro overlay not appearing in games, MTG Arena Pro website sections not loading (Decks, Collection) as reported by users in MTG Arena Pro Discord server https://discord.gg/auHdwKD About the error "self signed certificate in cerificate chain" I think that the only Razviar, MTG Arena Pro tracker's developer, can help you but he's not very present here on GitHub or in Discord as he's busy with other software's projects so MTG Arena Pro tracker is more or less abandonware, unfortunately. Latest update is 5th October 2023, as you can see here on Github https://github.com/Razviar/mtgap/releases

Razviar, the developer, has answered me on Discord about the website issue so hopefully that issue will be fixed. About the error "self signed certificate in cerificate chain" if you wish you can try to contact him in Discord as Github doesn't seem to be a effective contact channel.

@Revilak that Discord link no longer works. It says that it is invalid or expired.

Since you are already in the Discord, could you ask @Razviar to publish a new invite link?

I would like to get in touch with @Razviar, to discuss the possibility of contributing to the project. I really like MTGA Pro tracker. It would be a shame to let it get abandoned.

Hello , I tried just now and the Discord link is working. I don't know why it doesn't work for you. It's the same link found on official MTG Arena Pro webpage https://mtgarena.pro/ (at the end of the page). If still it doesn't work for you you can try to contact Razviar at the e-mail address I found here on GitHub admin@mtgarena.pro

Thanks. I managed to join the Discord. The problem was something with my different Discord accounts, but it worked fine when I pasted the invite link to the Discord app, instead of opening it from the browser.

I'll continue the discussion there 🙂
