Program crashes after trying to restore a save and never opens again

After trying to restore a save file the program crashes, no feedback is shown and I cannot open the program again unless I restart my computer...

I don't know what information you need me to show to you, is there a log file?

Sorry about that; what version of the game are you using? E.g., Steam, Epic, Windows Store/Game Pass.

Try this:

• Click the Windows start button
• Type Run and push Enter
• In the Open box, enter: %userprofile%/appdata/local/RemnantSaveManager
• Click OK
• Delete any folders you find in there

That should revert RSM to its default settings and might allow you to open it.
