2 years ago Decided not a bug.
Receivers will update lazily when the chunk gets loaded.
If a remote is used on a receiver whose chunk is not loaded than it will have no effect because the remote can only be one while activated by hand.
When activating the remote in another dimension regarding the receiver, it doesn't update.
Reproduce: Place receiver in nether with piston to push block, load that chunk, go back to overworld and activate remote.
