Hello,

I was wondering if you wouldn't mind taking a look at my uploaded code. It is titled Draft 1 and Draft 1.5 in the Data folder. I have been working really hard on this and I want to make sure I get it all right.

I listened to your previous comments about making in-code comments, and I tried really hard to make sure those are not too much - and that the code is readable. Please let me know.

Thank you so much for your help.

Best, Izzy

Dear @izzygaw , your script now runs without error. Do make sure that your script generates all output as specified in the assignment, and it should not go into the data folder. Also don't include any extraneous files(!) in your submission. One question - the code looks remarkably similar to a classmates. Was this an individual effort? Marguerite

Hello,

Okay! Thanks so much for your edits.

Yes, it was an individual effort. I spend a lot of time researching ways to condense my script so it wasn't so extensive (it was at first 80+ lines). I know we didn't learn the pdf function in class, if you would rather I use the markdown I can do that instead. We also learned some tricks in biometry that I implemented in this script. I figured out a few different ways to run this function and if you want me to redo it in a different way, I am more than willing to do that, or if you want me to create a citations page. Please let me know.

All the best, Izzy

Hey Izzy, we did do the pdfs in class :) It's also in the Rbootcamp.pdf. The pdf went through a lot of different ways of doing things, which we practiced in class. I would prefer techniques that you figured out yourself or through experimentation from the course materials, but it's OK. Just make sure your script produces all the output when it is run. and include the output as asked for -- basically just follow the instructions please.

Thanks for the explanation.

Hello,

Oh whoops! Thanks for letting me know. I'll go back through that now.

Okay good to know. It is alright that I made the legends on the PDF file and changed the dot color to purple? If not, I can put it back. I wanted to visually show the intersection of the blue and the red (both max intensity and lambda) are at that point?

I will make sure that all the outputs are in the main folder. I am not seeing extraneous files being inputted into github? Would you mind telling me the file name?

So sorry for all the questions...

All the best, Izzy

Hey Izzy, it's a simple assignment. Please just read it and follow the instructions. It is fine to have extra points labels, on your plots. That's fine. Don't include your draft scripts. Please use your judgement.
