It is pertaining only Revanced manager.
YouTube and GmsCore aren't ReVanced Manager
YouTube and GmsCore aren't ReVanced Manager
Ok is there a repo dedicated to Youtube Revanced then?
And what about gms core, just because I mentioned it, now it's no longer a Revanced manager issue when all tests lead to it being the culprit?
No, but theres a repository dedicated for patches you can find pinned on the organization page
No, but theres a repository dedicated for patches you can find pinned on the organization page
But this issue is reproduced and consistent with having Revanced manager as the culprit, while reinstalling / downgrading everything to what it was like before 1.21.1 update, and manager being the only constant that keeps notifications not working.
You haven't considered the fact that it could be a serverside change, ReVanced Manager is unable to do anything related to notifications, nothing at all, it simply patches and installs the patched app
You can install the previous release from GitHub releases and confirm that yourself, or confirm otherwise
Send a full recording that proofs how manager v1.21.1 causes the issue and how uninstall the app or using the previous version doesn't. If you can't provide such proof, your claims will not be considered.
Bug description
Updated my client with patch list 4.12 to see if the client spoofing bug was fixed. While I could confirm my spoofing bug was fixed, it came at the expense of losing all notifications.
After uninstalling Revanced, GmsCore, and the manager for a fresh default installation, notifications were still not going through. Specifically it made me think GmsCore was the problem not receiving notifications from Revanced.
I tired installing RVX to see if I could confirm a hypothesis GmsCore was the culprit for my inference. Unfortunately I observed notifications being pushed correctly from the RVX-patched Youtube to GmsCore. Thus I came to a conclusion Revanced-patched Youtube is not sending out notifications correctly for some reason on my phone.
And judging by posts on XDA and Reddit, the exact same thing is happening to a lot of users.
