I fully support this request, it's actually hard to believe it's not been made before, because I've been wishing for it for a while. I think "upcoming" videos in the subscription feed are useless clutter, and it would be well in the spirit of ReVanced to give an option to hide them. NewPipe already gives this option, even if i prefer using revanced.
Thanks for proposing this feature! I fully support the idea of being able to hide live and upcoming videos from the YouTube feed and search results. It would definitely help streamline content discovery and reduce clutter, especially for those of us who prefer to focus on non-live content. I personally prefer well made videos which do support playback speed and sponsorblock segments! These are not available in live, so... This feature would be a great addition to ReVanced!
I don't have any livestreams in my subscriptions or feed to try, but at least with search results livestreams can be hidden using keyword filter watching
To be more precise and not hide videos with 'watching' in the title, the keyword watchingp
hides all livestreams except livestream videos with vertical orientation are not hidden.
This probably will not work with upcoming livestreams in the subscription feed.
Setting my keyword filter to watchingp
works perfectly. Thanks a lot!
Feature description
I would like to be able to hide videos that are live, archived videos, scheduled to be distributed, scheduled to be released or premiered from the youtube search results and subsidie cannel feed.
Motivation
I believe that this will reduce the number of videos that are not found when they were originally supposed to be available due to the videos being distributed or scheduled for distribution.
