Task Description:
To better support light/dark themes on the website, it'll be great to decide on a set of common colors for light and dark themes. The set of colors can cover a broad range (e.g. different shades of grey), such that it is sufficient for most theming purposes.

This is a pressing task, as the choice of colors here wield influence over the designs/mockups for the other pages. Once this task is completed, it'll unblock #35.
