The new settings interface, accessed from main menu, correctly translates all the sliders into convars, while the old audio settings interface, accessed from lobby or mission by Esc -> Options -> Audio -> Advanced Volume Settings, leaves rd_mixer_volume_voice_players at 1 no matter where I put the "Voice Chat" slider.
