Would like to specify output units #16

It is desirable to be able to specify the output units of a plot such that the original units are converted if possible. This also applies to GetLegendGraphic calls.

There is some supported for this in edal-godiva through the Godiva.setUnitConverter() method, but it is not currently used (it was developed for MyOcean)
