I really appreciated the summary of each article you read. They are well written and concise, providing enough of an explanation to get the reader to understand how they helped you in your research. They also reinforce the paragraphs found in your introduction section, so they keep the flow of the first two chapters going.
That said, the chapter itself reads a bit like a "laundry list" of papers, but I think in your situation there is an easy fix. Some visuals, whether it be charts, diagrams, etc, would be really beneficial in breaking up all the words and giving the reader something else to consider. They could also give the reader even more insight that the summaries might not on their own.
