If we have many templates, moving them around can be very time consuming, so it would be great to have some sorting functions.
One thing that would make it a lot easier would be a "sort by category" button which clusters all templates of a single category (which represents a submenu) together. Given a sensible categorization to start with, it would already make manual resorting of the menu a lot easier.
Categories themselves should be sorted in the order of first occurence (not alphabetically) and all contained menu items should be moved into them also in the order of occurence. templates without category should be moved to the bottom of the list.
