I'd like to repurpose the Archwizard as a general-purpose mini-boss enemy for E4, since the E4 endboss is gonna be the Sons of D'Sparil (who need some improvements of their own anyway... but that's a thing for another thread :P ) -- I haven't tested these guys extensively just yet, but here's a few notes off the top of my head:
The chicken morph lasts far too long. It ought to be between 5 to 10 seconds maximum -- probably lean towards the shorter end since the real danger of chickenation is being weak enough to get one-shot.
Use different colors for attacks, to justify the presence of the Heresiarch's spinny-cube thingies
Lower the pain-chance; the teleport-when-hurt behavior is neat, but it's far too common right now.
Lower HP to suit a miniboss role (Iron Lich tier; maybe a tad bit more health than a Lich?)
Needs better sounds. ;)
I've got a couple of maps in E4 in mind for introducing & using this fellow, though that'll come after the behavior is all fixed up, IMO.
