@MuadDib90 can you take a look again and see if this has been resolved by now? Or if it is still present with the latest stable build of GZDoom and the latest dev-build of Blade of Agony?
Hi, tested latest BOA built and GZdoom dev built and yes, problems persist.
I got this not just once, strange issue regarding sound problems. When around this zone: sometimes it happens (to this day I was unable to recognize what triggers it) that the overall sound of accompanying music lowers in volume (maybe by half...?). This precedes of an error that from now on this particular music plays (lower in volume) constantly till the end of a level. When you enter the bellow passage to open the door to the chamber, where you place the "key", the music should stop. When you enter the crypt after placing the key on the piadestal, the music should change to more ambient one, but it did not. The nice, adventure-like music still plays at background lower in volume.
The error must be "hard coded", because loading does not work (if the error has been already presented, when saving). So something must definitely triggers it. IDK wrong move at some point...? possible?
I am presenting it here because it changes the overall mood for the mission by far degree, from what has been intended.

Another accompanying phenomenon of this "error" is that tha shadow (the first encounter) is not present. He won't appear at all. So this is a big warning.
And I discovered just now what triggers it (at least on my device). When entering this zone, either normaly or with NOCLIP ON, doesn't matter. The border is drawn where I can think it is judging by the testing:
