[C2M4] Douglas moving #1221

At the end of the mission in c2m4, douglas want to go home and keeps moving all the time. Maybe he should stay under that exclamation mark instead ?!

Ahh, this has to be the "never ending issue" of Douglas firing/not firing at enemies in this exact point; which is hitting engine limitations of how to do here some consensus as @Talon1024 once said (I think it was him).

But some weeks ago it was OK, when I played it. Douglas only moved at one point, not going anywhere, but firing at enemies. It is strange, he can move all around the place again...

He should not move but stand still and if he attacks he attacks standing still

No that can't be done, he just roams there. Adding again "standstill" will have countereffects in terms of turning him as a statue again.

He's moving from left to right and back (from were i'm standing), but not firing as there are currently no enemies around. So it's not the old issue, it's a new one. Maybe he's out of cigarettes and wants to go home ?

As of now (after a test play today), the problem with Douglas is that he is running around wildly even if there are no enemies around.

How do others see this issue? Should it be changed or left as is?

Same here. Running around the truck, never stops. Well, if Ozy can't think anything up to let him stand on one place only, and shoot only when some enemy appears from that very position, I vote to let it be like this. Better let him search for cigarettes, then a be sitting duck.
