Over the course of game development there has been many changes to the game, including the move away from the arcade genre, and towards the survival genre, I chose to do this as it was easier to code, and implement in the game, as well as giving the user a more streamlined and smooth playing experience, it allowed me to focus more on a small selection of mechanics, rather than having to offer many fully customisable and changeable features. This short move alone completely changed how my game ended up, from what was planned to be a truly unique experience, to a more smooth, general experience with more even score tracking for competition between players
Consistent playing of my game also helped me develop it more, as i played and developed i quickly realised that my initial idea was not a game i would enjoy playing lots, and as such, with the support of several tutorials, from which my game quickly became to appear heavily based off of (despite several large divergences) these differing opinions, and perspectives helped me carve out an enjoyable game, and develop my skills in fields such as pathfinding, and AI, areas that I ahd little experience in beforehand
Following is the summary of game development, and the processes, and trials that helped me improve and refine my game over time
