Inspired by Terraria, 7 Days to Die, and more, Rebirth of the Night is a Minecraft 1.12.2 modpack with its own progression system, lore, mechanics, and art. [BUG] Multiplayer Aether Sleep Client Crash #870

Open FamiliarPings opened 2 years ago

FamiliarPings commented 2 years ago

Describe the bug

To replicate this bug, have someone sleep at night in the aether with a skyroot bed, while another player is in the overworld. The player in the Aether will "sleep," lose hunger, but it will still be night on the server.

However, once the player in the overworld sleeps, the player in the aether will instantly crash and be booted from the server.

fwd to aether devs

Have you opened an issue on the Aether repo yet by chance?

Generally, RotN standard is to track the issue in our repo, and use the info provided by the reporting user to create a new issue on the mod's repo, linking back to our issue. That way we have full tracking of the issue/resolution so we can implement as soon as it's fixed/mark our issue as complete; and we don't have to push any work onto our users.

Granted - to open an issue with the Aether team, we would indeed need a crash report. @FamiliarPings

i've already talked with them, they are open to re-opening repo for pull requests, or we could make an addon
