Inspired by Terraria, 7 Days to Die, and more, Rebirth of the Night is a Minecraft 1.12.2 modpack with its own progression system, lore, mechanics, and art. It's built with the idea of remembering the central themes of what made Minecraft enjoyable and expanding them in every way, increasing the overall risk and reward as you progress.
When changing the block state or position of a Charset chest, the player is still able to access the chest. Doing so will allow them to take the item out of the chest inventory and then also take another copy of the item(s) out of the second position the chest is in. This is also exploited via using multiple players to open the chest and then breaking the chest, allowing players access the GUI in order to effectively dupe the item(s) inside.
To Reproduce
Place any Charset chest on the ground in front of a piston.
Use any redstone signal to push the chest.
Before pushing the chest, access the inventory.
Take the item out of the inventory after it was pushed.
Close the inventory and then access the chest again while it's pushed.
Expected behavior
I expect this age-old "vanilla" exploit to not be a thing.
