I would not install vim on the ReswarmOS by default. Users are not supposed to work there. Only under exceptional circumstances. Then they should install their favorite editor themselves.
Do you actually have a package manager on ReswarmOS?
I completely agree that no user is actually supposed to work directly on the system but only in extraordinary/maintaining cases. Hence, I prefer to only include the most common basic tools that are required for maintenance work, which most likely includes vim, nano,... No, there is no package manager, which doesn't make sense since, of course, if the user usually does not access the system...
alright vim and nano would be nice to have
for every user provide default .vimrc config
