Description

Hello there, I really love Rectify, it made everything to pitch black! But some programs don't, like Canon IJ Assistant, Office apps, and other programs. Let's take Canon IJ Assistant and Office as an example.

Canon IJ Assistant

image

What is wrong?

Header

The header is white, while it supposed to be black, but it is white image

Random shadows

If you focus on texts, you can see some random shadows, like this image looks like a box image looks like a box image looks like a box image "View" looks dimmed on top image looks like a box and 4+ more...

If you're thinking that it is because of my custom Mica textures (DWMGlass), it actually happens with normal mica (system provided, not modified) texture, too.

Over Exposure

Some of application images are tinted with wallpaper, and, kinda lighten up?

(Sorry for this, but I don't know how to make a table)

Iconify and Default image image image image

I don't really mind about the edge having some white blocks, because these icons are png or ico, but what I'm talking about the way it light up too much (over exposure) and tinted with wallpaper.

Office

Output (to the printer)

Quick review

Edit: Take one more example: scrcpy

Scrcpy (screencopy for android)

image

What I expected that the mirrored content has a black background, and the blank background is mica.

But, if the mirrored content was black, or fully black, the background of that content will be translucent, and that also tint with wallpaper, too.

Steps To Reproduce

Install Rectify

Configuration

Theme: Dark mode with Mica

Rectify11 Version

v3.2.63.4 (took one from GitHub Actions)

Windows Version

Windows 11 Pro - 23H2 - 22631.3593

Logs

How do I find the log while normally using? And, the installer doesn't give me any error, it successfully installed. Screenshots for the bug are mentioned in Description.

for scrcpy, open Mica For Everyone and whitelist the process from it to stop mfe hooking the app
