Optifine sudden change ofDynamicFov:true #25

Open Xisdar opened 1 year ago

Xisdar commented 1 year ago

When changing any settings, there is a possibility that Optifine itself will change the parameter ofDynamicFov:false to ofDynamicFov:true, if Valkyrie-0.2-Dev-8 is present.

  1. Valkyrie-0.2-Dev-8 changes the available buttons of Optifine, the game has no way to return this value to ofDynamicFov:false, as there is no button.
  2. I have to change the value manually and do a full restart of the launcher.

I am pretty sure I have no way to fix this

Desoroxxx commented 1 year ago

But I can add a toggle for dynamic fov to Valkyrie for 0.2

Xisdar commented 1 year ago

Yes, that would be super features

If there is a way to fix this (I don't know if there is), please fix it because I found out that it happens literally any time i switch shaders, not just when Valkyrie is first added. A button to turn it back on would be nice but it would be even better if dynamic fov couldn't get turned off in the first place.

The shader button and the dynamic FOV button just overlap.
