Pipeline failures seem unrelated to these changes (timed out deploying to ephemeral via bonfire and insights-chrome-pipeline-pr-check-frontends-master error finding package.json). These are failing on other PRs as well and should be investigated. For now I've manually verified these changes are safe to merge 👍
