Simpler mapping of event to name #206

Using a map rather than an if-then.

This is really just a "Hi" and me trying to get started reading through the yggdrasil code.

Hi @subpop - thanks for your pointers there. I'm new to Go idiom so I appreciate learning the reasons for doing it the way it is. Will close this PR.
