LVM partitioning is supposed to work... but didn't in my tests (installation failed to reboot)

slack thread with engineering: https://redhat-internal.slack.com/archives/C022TDCV3FH/p1729528018930599?thread_ts=1729268869.980959&cid=C022TDCV3FH

Need to find out how to make it work, provide an example, and check the statements in the course about what can or cannot be done with partitioning. Am I saying it MUST be "autopart --plain" ?

In addition, LVM is a requirement for dynamic storage with MicroShift, using the LVM Storage operator, so it must work, somehow. Hoperfully it was an issue with the RHEL 9.2 environment which was solved in later releases.

HOL011 did it with LVM and leaving unallocated space for lvmtopo and microshift https://rol-factory.ole.redhat.com/rol/app/courses/hol010-4/pages/ch01s02
