As in object, I wrote some code that try to fix some of the opened issue.

@mossicrue I think if you remove the registered_by stuff and fix the desired_sub nil check, we can merge this and do the other two comments as future follow ups.

I am going to tag the current master as v0.0.1 and your stuff when it's merged as v0.0.2, and then we can go for cleanups
