Not entirely sure it would be reliable, web.archive.org regularly purges its database from copyrighted content, especially when requested by the rights-holders, and given how kissmanga went down, it won’t take long for its content to be wiped away.
There’s also the issue of web.archive.org timing out a LOT, even when browsing a single page in a regular browser, because their hosting solution is already vastly undersized for its massive database. At this point I would only rely on it if you really can’t find that manga anywhere else, and manually download its pages (when they finally load on web-archive.org)(just my 2 cents on the idea).

Not only, on webmachine you can often view the main page or the chapters' list of a manga but then when you try to open a chapter the actual images won't load (probably because the service doesn't save them if they are loaded via javascript or anyway with any dynamic function). So it would be a lot of work to support the service but with minimal real benefit

This may be slower, but could you use https://web.archive.org to access sites and download from them even after their dead? e.g https://web.archive.org/web/20200601130001/http://kissmanga.com/
