Perhaps a wiki organized chronologically?
This kind of feature is actually very appealing and I have suggested working on such a track when the repo is built. Since the owner of the repo is not active recently, the repo is now out of track a little bit. If you are still interested, please feel free to contact me at ydt115870 at gmail dot com. I feel a public tracking of this area is important to the society and would like to put effort to build such system.
https://github.com/sbrugman/deep-learning-papers partially provides these data: "Papers about deep learning ordered by task, date. Current state-of-the-art papers are labelled."
It would be interesting to keep the list of previous state-of-start results and related papers. That would help understanding the evolution of methods to address every single problem.
For readibility, I suggest to list them on a new page. If you think this idea is worthwile, I'll start collecting information on this topic and will submit a PR.
Thanks for this wonderful resource!
