Document object values in a central place #3

It seems like a lot of the code has objects whose instance values aren't listed in a consistent manner (usually they go at the top of the object, before it's methods). (I know this may be more Java-ish than Pythonic, but it really helps code maintainability IMHO.)

It would be nice to have consistent syntax on listing instance values, and we will discuss how we want them to be listed at a future meeting, but for now just leave them as they are, it's not worth our time right now to go through and fix everything. Thanks for reading through the code and noticing this!
