Yosemite Support #41

Hello ,

can i use those to install a 960 Evo NVME in a MacPro 1.1 running Yosemite and boot off it?

There is no NVMe support in Yosemite. It was added in El Capitan. You might try using IONVMeFamily (or HackrNVMeFamily) from 10.11, but it probably won't work.
