Light-emitting blocks (Cave Crystals, Glows, etc.) with sub-IDs of 8 or higher emit virtually no light when placed. Placing or destroying non-bugged light emitting blocks nearby, however, does appear to update the bugged blocks to emit light properly. This issue does not seem to be limited to ChromatiCraft blocks, as it also affects Chisel's glowstone variants, which behave as normal when DragonAPI is not installed.
Example involving Potion Crystals
