Update_chebis.py now moved to SCOPE-updating repo. I want to split the SCOPE toolbox from more "supporting" scripts and files that would not be useful for literature reviewers. But we can always move these scripts back to SCOPE if there are good arguments to do so.
I am now in the process of rewriting update_chebis.py. It will look on OSF for the ChEBI2 files, and check if they are up-to-date with the latest ontology release. If so, the files are downloaded, updated and then replace the old files on OSF. However, this script I would think should not be distributed with the SCOPE toolbox. What would be the best way to go about this? Making a different SCOPE-maintain branch or project?
