*Haxloader not working #85

Hi. First and foremost, thanks for the cfw!!!

I have a problem: I updated my New 3ds (eur) to the latest firm, and the cfw using the latest firm.bin from the source file. Nonetheless, when i try to load the emu using the hbl it gets stuck on a black screen.

Any CFW requires an arm9 exploit, and if you are running Reinand from an 11.5 sysnand. It will not work. However, If you have access to an arm9 exploit, I believe there are (unconfirmed) issues with *hax payloads. I have no way to tell as we are moving to make ReiNand boot9strap exclusive, much like Luma3ds already has.

Sysnand is 9.something. had the emu on 11.2 (or 11.1 cant remember) and updated it and reinand.

Anyway you recomend using boot9strap? Can i still use the emunand or can i only use the sysnand after that?

Sounds like it is loading the wrong firmware.bin, and the older one would work just fine. Use the one given in the release! And I do approve of boot9strap. However, I would wait until I make the next release if you want to continue to use ReiNand. You can still use Emunand on the next update, however there will be a new step to have you forceboot Emunand. I'll add instructions in the readme when the new release is made.

Tried Rei5.0 with both the release firm and the one on the 5.1 and on the data folder. It gets stuck on the splash screen (I couldnt even get there before), sometimes the touch screen says by Reisyukaku, sometimes it doesnt, but i can't get past that.

What release were you using before 5.0? I assume 4.x. I think this is an issue with the *hax loader. I'll try compiling something at school and send you a link to test.

yeah, started with 3.5 and then moved/updated to 4.1. Thanks, you're the best!!!!
