Are all fans configured the same in the bios?
Hello - Same issue here. Windows 10 x64 21H2 . Fan Control v144.
3 x Phanteks SK120 fans (exact model:PH-F120SK_DRGB_PWM) connected to 3 different fan headers on the motherboard:
Motherboard: Gigabyte X470 AORUS GAMING 7 WIFI-50 rev 1.1
CPU Fan (AMD Wraith Prism in CPU fan header) is also fully working in Fan Control.
After seeing this thread, I checked the PWM/DC setting in the BIOS today, and all were set to "Auto" (except CPU Fan, which was already set to PWM). I overrode that to "PWM" for all of them, and the same behavior continues.
Thanks!
One thing to try:: set DC mode instead of PWM.
They are all set to PWM and silent in the bios but i'll give the DC mode a try and get back to you
Alright sorry for the wait, I gave the DC mode a try and unfortunately the issue still persists. Could it be to do with the headers? I made sure they were all 4 pin so I'm not sure there.
Just popping a note here to say I also have an intermittent issue with one fan that will intermittently stop responding to any PWM command or manual control; it will run at full speed. Has been happening on v 164,v165, v167 Fan is Corsair RWF0058 and Commander Pro. Issue does not replicate itself using iCUE or SignalRGB.
Two of my case fans don't respond to the speed control even though the others of the same model do, it can pick up their rpm but they don't respond to commands through the software. I have confirmed that they do respond to controls through the bios but it would be great to be able to use fan control as its very helpful. All fans are PWM.
I have 4 corsair sp120 elites on the case two of which don't respond. The GPU and the two bequiet fans have no issues. Gigabyte aorus x570 pro rev 1.2 if that helps at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
