I have test FanControl on my another PC with MSI motherboard inside. The motherboard is Z690 Tomahawk Wifi d4. I mount all the fans to the motherboard directly and FanControl software can adjust them properly. Very nice.
However, the same method doesn't work on my X299 Aorus Master motherboard. I think this is Gigabyte's problem. Nevertheless, I wonder to know is there some potential factors caused this out-of-control problem? Such as the BIOS or PWM controller?
Describe the bug When I first installed the new win10 OS, FanControl worked very well. After I installed Gigabyte's official fan control utility named SIV, FanControl cannot control the fans anymore. Even after I uninstalled SIV.
Is there any problem?
Is there a log.txt file next to FanControl.exe with recent date entries?
And Force Apply doesn't work.
