FanControl App opens when resuming from sleep, even with start minimized checked #1573

Running Windows 10 22H2 with latest updates, latest Fan Control release. Fan Control is set to start minimized and start with windows with a 30 second delay.

To Reproduce:

  1. Open Fan Control app . Set Fan Control to start minimized.
  2. "close" it so it only appears in the taskbar overflow menu.
  3. Enter into sleep mode
  4. Turn the computer back on and log back in.
  5. Fan Control will be open front and center. Expected behaviour: Fan Control will stay minimized, hidden in taskbar overflow menu. (This was the case as of recently until I think this latest update to 147)

Can confirm, this is happening to me as well since 147 on WIndows 11 22H2 - have tried disabling/re-enabling for it to recreate the scheduled task but it's still doing the same.

Same issue happened to me. I'm using version 147 on Windows 10 22H2.

...same here, but it used to work as intended in an older version of FanControl!

Try and run updater.exe again in FanControl's folder. Uploaded a hotfix.

the issue is resolved for me after running Updater.exe...

Running updater.exe also fixed the issue for me!

Same here, after running updater.exe, sleeping then waking, it no longer opens in foreground.

I'm sorry but where is the updater.exe? I've dowloaded from the link https://github.com/Rem0o/FanControl.Releases/blob/master/FanControl.zip

@Deninc if you ever updated fancontrol it should be there, if it's your first time here, you can just download the zip again and extract on top.

Seems to be broken for me again on V152. Start with Windows and Start minimized are checked - FanControl still pops up when logging in.
