Windows Firewall blocks acces #2095

Good day,

Since i upgraded to windows 11, for my work environment, i've been having issues with fan control. According to windows firewall, fan control is abusing in-thewild-exploits?

Anyway, here is the full message:

Since i think its bs, could you please reply to me why this is happening. So i can tell the 'security department' that mickeysoft is wrong, as usual?

Neven seen windows directly block the driver, maybe your work environment turned up all the dials to the max. FanControl uses LHM, which uses WinRing0, an old signed driver, which uses an "unsecure" version of a method. See https://www.cvedetails.com/cve/CVE-2020-14979/.
