Hi, did you set some fans to stop? Did your PC overheat? What sensor sources did you tick?
I used CPU_FAN and Chassis1. The Fans are not stopping i use a very aggressive Curve. Minimum i set is 40°C -> 50% Spin. There is no overheating, full watercooled System. Source was CPU Package Temp for Both Curves
sensor sources
Untick everything in there you don't need/ are not using:
So in order to just Monitor CPU Package i just check "CPU"? Because GPU is on a Waterblock. And what is nvaviwrapper?
Keep also motherboard to get the fan sensors, but if you are not monitoring your gpu, keep it unticked.
Nviapiwrapper is an alternative implementation to get the gpu sensors, more light weight and low on resources.
My Current Setup. Will notify you if it still freezes my PC. Sometimes it shows a Question Mark in front of the Speed Percentages on Chassis 1 and CPUFan, but goes away after a couple seconds. I can not figure out for the life of me what Software still meddles with my Fan Speed for this Short Duration, locking it to 0 or 900RPM until Fan Control takes the wheel again. I already used the Armoury Crate official uninstaller and checked for services. The Bios has Manual Curves set, but Fan Control Softwares are always #1 Priority i thought? I really appreciate your help!
The only things i have opened right now are HWinfo for monitoring and Fan Control with the HWinfo Plugin to check my Water Temps.
Asus software goes deep. Even if uninstalled, I believe it sets options in bios/firmware which may still apply.
Yeah i noticed... i used a Asus deep clean tool and reset my Bios to Standard Settings. Because my Chassis1 Fan kept freezing and did not give out any reading anymore...lets see if that helps. Thx for helping
Nah sad to say it does not work :(
-Armoury Crate uninstalled -Asus Deep Clean - no trace left of asus Software -Bios Update from 1501 to 1801
Both Sensors set my Fans to 300-500rpm for a couple Seconds until Fan Controls Force Apply takes over to restore my own Curve. Now i don't know if its an Asus/my Problem or Fan Controls, but if you want a detailed Setup description:

Same, sometimes the app crashes when i start it, sometimes the entire pc crashes(freeze) or just plain resets. There are no errors, log is empty etc.
Just wanted to say I have the same issue. No Asus board, but Gigabyte. A Z690 AORUS ELITE DDR4. Paired with a Geforce RTX 3060 Ti. No related events in the Windows event viewer to be found.
I also don't have fans set to stop. I only lower the RPM of my case fans when I'm not running games
I just downloaded V177 and set my Fan Curves. After minimizing the Software my PC froze after like a Minute and i could only kill it with the Power Button. This happened before on an older Version, i came back to see if this was already fixed.
