CPU clocks to max while idle in windows #2685

Everytime i open Fan Control my cpu clock speed is maxing out so temps are also around 70C while idle... . when closing fan control cpu temps dropping to 40C.

Do you get high CPU usage in task manager?

Otherwise, try to uncheck sensor sources one by one.

usage is like 5% while idle, only clock speeds are skyrocketing for some reason

5% for fancontrol is not normal at all. As I said in my previous message, try to uncheck sensor sources one by one. One of them is most likely responsible.

all sensors unchecked, even deleted all of the curves

I was asking specifically for sensor sources in the settings. Send a screenshot of that.

Screenshot_19 now it looks okay, going to test. most of the time the clock speeds maxing out after exiting a game after that fan control was showing 5%+ usage + max clocks until i closed the program.

so it happend again, after finishing and quiting the game , fan control 5% usage+ max clock speeds.

might be some bug with amd software idk usage correlates with fan control
