Software not updating to V204 #2751

Hi. Just wondering why it's been telling me there's an update to version 204 available and when I click update it does it's thing and seems like it's updating but I'm still on V203 when the process finishes.

If I restart fancontrol it's the same thing every time.

Seems like a caching issue. Are you behind some kind VPN or any kind of network "middle man" ?

Naw just connected straight through my service provider.

Still having the same issue trying to update to v205.

Maybe I just uninstall and reinstall new version or something.

Just install v205 manually on top of your existing install for now.

Hmm. Coming here to add that when I go check add/remove programs it's listed as v205 there but the header for fancontrol still says v203. When I open the program though it says there's an update available.

To manually install do I just copy paste everything in the zip and replace all files? This should keep my setting?

Okay well this is interesting. When I first installed Fancontrol it was on my C drive. Then I manually moved it to my D drive. When I looked in C drive just now.....fancontrol v205 is there. Never seen this before. Maybe I just uninstall everything and restart by installing on D drive from the onset.
