Thank you for the issue ! You are right, improvements needs to be made regarding the management of Plex lifecycle, it's already on the roadmap 👍
I've been struggling with this as well. I run Docker and both PAL and Plex are containers in a large compose. Even though I have set Plex as a dependency for PAL, it seems on a restart of the host, it's not fully up by the time PAL spins up. It then fails to connect and then silently fails unless I notice and restart the container
The changes introduced in #40 improve the integration with Plex.
Changes:
Basically this means that restarting PAL should no longer be necessary as it will always try to reconnect to the Plex server, whatever happens.

right now it just closes the cmd window without much luck. I've tried making a task in task scheduler windows still sees it at running despite not running.
