Yes, i would like to see this implemented in the near future, playing GDRom
original disc's, if possible.

I do not think the original is possible because the reader of the pc not
reading the disk fz
images only
o original acho que não e possivel ja que o leitor do pc não fz a leitura do
disco
apenas imagens

Well, Kalisto released (long time ago) the Yamaha 400/GD-R firmware from katana
devkit r9, and they used it to read and burn GD-Roms on that little one. So if
Im not wrong, it could be possible to read GD's from a common PC CD unit.

Its still a pain, and you have to make lots of changes (We're talking about
firmware after all) just to do that, its way easier to backup your games using
the "old" way (cable stuff)

The are 3 distinct area's when you look at the bottom of a GD-ROM disc.
The low-density inner track (dark gray) contains about 35 Mb (4 mins) DATA
which is also accessible by normal CD-Readers, however the outer track (light
gray) contains about 1 Gb (112 mins) DATA but is written in a high density
format which can NOT be accessed by normal CD-Readers.

If you've gone through the troubles of making your CD drive read GDROMs, then
just make a GDI image of it and use it on the emulator.

Although, I think the OP just wants boot discs to be supported. Like the Utopia
one for example. I don't know if they work, I've never tried it.

and because it has games that were ripped too and has a few things.
but I'd really like and know how to rip the games and make them fit on a 870MB
media and rotate them in dc
or how to divide them into cds 700MB

e porque tem jogos que foram ripados demais e não tem algumas coisas.
mas eu gostaria mesmo e de saber como ripar os jogos e fazer eles caberem em
uma mídia de 870MB e rodar eles no dc
ou como dividi-los em cds de 700MB

he said:

"i'm here because there's games that have been ripped to the point that are
missing some stuff (scene releases)

i'd really like to know how to rip games and make them fit on a 870MB media and
run on a real DC, or how to split them in 700MB parts"

anyway, looking through all that he said, i think he means the emulator is not
reading directly from burnt cds (meaning that it once supposedly did), only
images... but he doesn't mention what version...
