Hi,
We'd like to start supporting it with AVPro Video version 3. We're not sure at this moment if it will be supported straight from initial release, but it is something that we have been working on.
It would be great to know the roadmap for Vision Pro support. Many people are interested in this information.
I'm trying to develop a mixed reality Vision Pro app using AVPro. I don't have an actual device yet, but at least it doesn't work in Apple Simulator (Vision Pro). The scene is empty, and the Simulator freezes. I assume that's because there's no support of Set Render Texture Dirty for AVPro render textures. Unity's player works fine in the same setting. But I need to use AVPro for its specific functionality and the amazing Demo Media Player UI.
Renderheads, please, we're eager to get AVPro functioning on Vision Pro. Also, it would be great if you create a nice customizable demo 3D video player UI natively designed for XRHands interaction, similar to the nice Demo_MediaPlayer for screen canvas, which you provide in the package.

I'm also interested in this. I have a VP and would be happy to beta test. Perhaps useful to know things works fine inside of the VP iPad emulation of a unity game with AVPro 2 running as a plugin.
Are there any updates regarding Vision OS support or at least any approximate release dates? I would really like to use AVPro for video playback on Vision Pro and not look for other solutions. Maybe there's a way to test the pre-release plugin or something as a temporary solution?
When v3 is going to be released? I need Vision Pro support.

It shouldn't be too much longer now, but no official date yet. It'll be out when its ready :)

Hello ! Does it work with Unity Polyspatial, the plugin for mixed reality on visionOS ?
I'm using the latest release from today of AVPro, polyspatial 1.1.6, unity 2022.3.19f1, the simplest set up with a mediaplayer and a quad, it works in editor but with critical error, it seems there's some conflict with polyspatial. I'm probably missing something but I just wanted to check.
It doesn't work with my Vision Pro too. Same as @ymPoirier said, it worked in my Unity editor, but it didn't work with the actual device.
I use Universal Render Pipline/Unlit shader and _BaseMap as Texture Property.
