The environment of my PC seems to be bad and I was able to play it on other machines.

realitygarage commented 4 years ago

Any clue - what was bad on your your PC? I have similar issues.. but the h265 codec is installed, the video plays in the gopro player, and media player

[AVProVideo] Error: Loading failed. File not found, codec not supported, video resolution too high or insufficient system resources.

I got this error when i use android version, any help?

AndrewRH commented 4 years ago

@monaalaa please provide more information..... eg, Unity version, AVPro video version, video specs etc..

gtk2k commented 4 years ago

One thing I found out. If the playback audio device of the system is not set, this error occurs and the video cannot be played.

realitygarage commented 4 years ago

Thanks much for all the support - will pick this up this upcoming week to test and revert back.

best as I recall this was an issue in the editor (but I think playback OK in the gopro headset) - where the issue was seen on one computer, but seemed to work fine an another. For the video files using the h265 codec... even though both computers had the codec installed, e.g. videos would play fine using media player or vlc or gopro vr player on both computers.. but I would get this error in the editor on one, but not the other.

Not a show stopper - just damn weird :)

i have this problem any help?

[AVProVideo] Error: Loading failed. File not found, codec not supported, video resolution too high or insufficient system resources.

IL55 commented 3 years ago

Hi, I have the same issue and what I can say it is Mac specific, i.e. I have [AVProVideo] File not found: localhost:3000/assets/bcd661e5-b696-4690-bca4-739acabe0aa0_1.webm but for Windows it works ok, we have AVPro 10 1.11.5

dimakuzov commented 3 years ago

Hi, I had the same issue while I load stream video. The issue was that I was creating the media player while the application was running (by script). As soon as the player component was added to the scene (in editor), the error stopped

Ste-RH commented 3 years ago

@MarcoLavoro @IL55 @dimakuzov

In order for us to help work out why you might be seeing this error, you would need to post up more information. I would advise you each open a new issue and provide all the information we outline.

fredgreen182 commented 9 months ago

This error should really be improved to show which of these 4 things are happening. Loading failed. File not found, codec not supported, video resolution too high or insufficient system resources.

Chris-RH commented 9 months ago

Hi @fredgreen182

if you're having a specific issue, please open a new bug report form and fill in all the details.

HcgRandon commented 9 months ago

This is one of the worst errors I've ever seen, completely useless to an end user

dorcatty commented 1 month ago

is there any solution of this issue ?i have same error with Trial version AVPro Video V3.0.9, and Unity2022.3.25f1, I followed this documentation to encode my video, then segmented it using Google Shaka Packager in different resolutions. Any Dash Player plays well my mpd file directly. but having this issue with AVPro Video in Unity Engine, it seem the mpd could not be played ? thx
