The RenderToolbox3 team has tested RenderToolbox3 with several OS X machines and a Linux computing cluster. We have never tested RenderToolbox3 on Windows.
All of the RenderToolbox3 components are available on Windows, so this should work. But there would be wrinkles to iron out. For example:
what's the best way to build the renderers?
what's the best way to install OpenEXR and build a mex function that links to it?
is RenderToolbox3 doing the right thing with file paths and permissions
is RenderToolbox3 doing the right thing with file environment variables
