Created reusable atomic components containing elementary MaterialUI components with custom styles
Created page 2 of create-job-posting page
Established atomic design template of code repository
Hosted MaterialUI tutorial for the team
Assisted @ReneReid @aleemer in refactoring the Landing and Login pages to adhere to front end designs
Some areas of improvement may include more front-end progress on the create-job feature. We intended on finishing more chunks of the feature set which we will now push to the following sprint
Some issues we encountered include confusion on proceeding naming convention, some minor miscommunications on design choices, and confusion in setting up PR's which were resolved with a few short Zoom calls
The following sprint will be working on finishing up the create-job page as well as the user home page and setting up the basis of our database and back end service
I helped create components for the landing and login page
Contributed to the atomic design format, adding components to the respective folders
Worked with @tommytwm to refactor the Landing and Login pages to adhere to front end designs
I intend on becoming proficient in MaterialUI & Redux in the next sprint so that reusable components for following pages can be easily made in a streamlined manner
I intend to contribute to setting up the actions and effects with Redux, as well as assisting in the planning of state management for the database portion of the project.
Developed the create job posting first page using material-ui and reusable components
Implementing React routing
Setup presentation and handled all merges and resolved conflicts of PRs and merged to develop/project_2
Some areas of improvement include creating smaller PRs to make it easier for merging and reviewing
In the following sprint I will be implementing Redux into the application and hosting a tutorial for the teammates. I will also continue to build out pages and implement the functionality with redux.
