For the past iteration we have worked on finalizing and concretizing our app idea - Internify.
We will be working on developing our first components for our first feature pages of the app for this coming iteration, which will be accomplished by delegating tasks to everyone in the team and organizing frequent check-ins to make sure no one is stuck at their task.
There were some miscommunication that occurred during our discussion on identifying requirements - some misunderstanding on whether to construct a dashboard or an entirely new recommendation system - which was resolved by a mediator within our team.
Was taught by a team member (Tommy Tho) how to use Figma to create visuals.
Worked on selecting and fleshing out app idea (Internify). This involved categorizing its different attributes into (1) minimum requirements, (2) standard requirements, and (3) stretch requirements.
There was a minor communication challenge during group discussion; this issue was resolved once greater detail was shared re the differing points of view
For next iteration (2 weeks) will be working on: (1) class survey, (2) login page, and possibly other user stories.
Contributed to team discussions regarding the specifications of the app - Internify, and the project report.
In the next two weeks I will be working along side Tommy to develop the UX for the main feature of our minimal requirements - the job posting page - along with creating and picking up user stories to implement the main feature.
Our team works really well together, so there were minimal challenges. We did encounter issues related to confusion around the project demo presentation as we weren't aware that we would be presenting our app in front of other teams.
I contributed to the team discussions regarding the app specifications, offering both ideas and concepts that could be incorporated into minimal, standard, and stretch requirements, respectively.
Some major issues we ran into involved minor issues regarding the complexity of the application, and the service we are delivering; this was remedied by breaking it down into minimal, standard, and stretch requiremetns, as well as communicating regularly.
Over the next two weeks, I plan to work on generating a quiz form for the purpose of data research, assist in the development of a home page and login page, as well as draw an overall representation of what is occurring (data flow), with regards to minimal requirements.
