Performance issues in landscape mode (iPad) #551

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
Start CPTTestApp for iPad
2.
Drag the graph and compare the performance in landscape and portrait mode
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The performance should be equal... Well in the landscape mode the performance
of the graph rendering is considerably lower than in the portrait mode. If the
graph is displayed fullscreen, the difference is huge!

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.3

Please provide any additional information below.

Device or simulator? If device, which model?

What size is the graph in each orientation?

How many plots are in the graph? What type? How many data points?

Device (iPad 3) and simulator.

Size of graph is fullscreen: 1024x768 (2048x1536)

1 plot (bar plot in my case), 1 data point is enough to see the effect.
